April 20, 2008 – Easter IV
Today is the Fourth Sunday after Easter. The Triduum to Our Lady of Consolation concludes after all Masses. The Blessing of Expectant Mothers is available at the communion rail after Mass. Early Vespers and Benediction are at 1:10 PM.

A dear parishioner of our church, Alberta Courter, died last Tuesday after a four month illness. Alberta and her dear husband Andy were “original parishioners” from the early ‘80’s, and Alberta headed our Sunday Catechism program for many years. Recently the Courters had wintered in Florida, but we still saw them every summer. May she rest in peace. This is the funeral schedule for tomorrow, Monday, April 21st.:
9:30 AM Viewing in Helfta Hall.
11:00 AM Rosary and Requiem Mass, followed by refreshments in Helfta Hall. (It would be nice for some of our faithful to help set things up, and perhaps bring some food.) The burial follows in Springfield, Ohio.
Next Sunday
Confessions will be heard before or during all Masses for those who cannot come at regularly scheduled times. Set your missal: Easter V; Vidi Aquam; 2nd Col commemoration of St. Peter Canisius; Preface of Easter. Early Vespers and Benediction at 1:10 PM.
