Father Ramolla has healed nicely from his broken arm, and is very busy these days (as usual!) taking our place as Fr. Cekada and I are away for some R & R. Fr. Ramolla leaves for a
long delayed trip to Germany next Sunday. In addition to his duties as assistant here and sacristan and school teacher, Fr. Ramolla has served as an excellent pastor for the flock at St. Clare in Columbus. We hope he gets some rest, but knowing him…
We have wonderful memories of Fr. Larrabee’s ordination on July 1st. The splendor of the ceremony, the spiritual reality of the sacrament of Holy Orders, the priesthood passed on,
and the joy of the young Levite’s family joined to that of priests young and not so young, all make for a truly encouraging event. Things were a bit of a blur with the packing and traveling and the dinners and many conversations. Fr. Siordia and Fr. Mardones were happily with us for the ordination. Remind me to tell you about Fr. Siordia’s prayer to Our Lady and his help for the Poor Souls.
I hope you are enjoying a blessed July, and will come tomorrow evening to process and pray with us, if you are able.
