Pentecost XIX

The Mass today is Pentecost XIX, with the commemorations to implore the intercession of All Saints, and the Angels. The Blessing of Children and the dedication to their Guardian Angel takes place today after all Masses. Confessions will be heard all Masses and during Low Masses. Vespers and Benediction are at 4:45 PM.

North American Martyrs

On Monday we honor “saints from our soil”, the North American Martyrs, at the 11:30 AM High Mass. Please join us.

Michaelmas

Thursday is the feast of the Guardian Protector of the Church, St. Michael Archangel, with the children’s High Mass at 11:30 AM. Come and implore this powerful messenger and intercessor to beg God for us, to restore our Church. The Low Mass is at 5:00 PM.

October Devotions

Join us for the opening of the Month of October and our October Devotions (Rosary, Litany and Prayer to St. Joseph) before the Blessed Sacrament Exposed on First Saturday morning at 8:10 AM and Sunday after Vespers. Monday-Friday the Rosary is at 3:10 PM.

Home Schooling Families

Come to the First Friday Mass at 11:30 AM and bring a sack lunch. We can meet in the Social Hall and discuss ideas and get the children together for sharing and fun. See you after Mass!

First Saturday

First Saturday falls first this month, without First Friday. Don’t miss it! Remember Mass at 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM as well as Holy Communion at 5:00 PM. Please attend the First Saturday / Opening of October Devotions at 8:10 AM, which includes Rosary and Benediction. Nobody ever comes to First Saturday morning Rosary. Please, for the month of the Rosary, come. Mary needs you!

Next Sunday

Next Sunday is Rosary Sunday. Roses to be blessed and carried in the procession may be purchased before the 9:00 and 11:30 AM Masses. The Rosary Confraternity will lead the outdoor procession after the 9:00 AM Mass.

All Rosary Confraternity members are invited to attend the High Mass in a body, wear their rosary medal, and walk in the procession, as well as attend the breakfast afterwards.

The Annual Rosary Confraternity Breakfast will be held after the High Mass and Procession next Sunday. Join us for a delightful breakfast after the Procession and a chance to socialize. Purchase your tickets from Confraternity members at $7 per person and $20 per family.

The Blessing of Religious Articles follows the Low Masses. Rosaries will be blessed (with all indulgences) at all Masses.

The special Second Collection is for our Building Fund.

Due to the procession, Sunday Catechism Classes are cancelled next week. The children are urged to walk in the Procession.
