GIRLS CAMP! August 21st – 23rd at St.
Gertrude the Great. The Sisters of St.
Thomas Aquinas from Brooksville, Florida
arrive on Monday, August 20th. The group
is seeking donations of various colorful
buttons to be used for one of their craft
projects. Please bring the donations by the
office.
THIRTEEN TUESDAYS OF ST. ANTHONY
We continue our traditional summer devotion of
theThirteenTuesdays of St. Anthony this week at
the 9:00 AMMass (Please note the special time)
Evening Mass is at 5:45 PM. St. Anthony is a
powerful,universal intercessor.Bring yourneeds to
him!
CASSOCK CLEANING
It is time to wash and iron all cassocks worn
by our servers. All servers please stop by the
sacritsy and take your cassock home for
cleaning. Please use mild detergent, warm
water and the gentle cycle. Touch up with a
warm iron if necessary after the light drying
cycle. Return all cassocks on hangers labled
with your name to the sacristy by Sunday,
August 26th.

For all who prepared and sent the clothing
this summer for the poor, Father Mardones
writes the following Thank You Letter:

received several boxes with clothes, I want

The Ladies Evening of Recollection
sponsored by the Mothers’ Union, will be
Friday, August 31, in Helfta Hall. Mass is
scheduled for 5:45 PM followed by
Confessions at 6:45 PM. The Ladies
spiritual talk with Bishop Dolan is
scheduled for 7:00 PM after which
refreshments will be served.
• MENS EVENING OF RECOLLECTION
The Men’s Evening of Recollection sponsored
by the Holy Name Society will be Friday,
September 14, inHelftaHall.Mass is scheduled
for5:45PMfollowedbyConfessions at6:45PM.
The Men’s talk with Bishop Dolan is scheduled
for 7:00 PM after which refreshments will be
served during a small meeting of the Holy Name
Society.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: It’s that time of
year! Good bye summer and hello
Catechism registration. Registration dates
are Sunday, August 26th and Sunday,
September 2nd in Helfta Hall.
All returning teachers and others
interested in instructing our illustrious
youth in the rudiments of the Faith are
encouraged to contact the church office no
later than August 22nd.
Parents, it is of the utmost importance
that our young ones be fully armed in the
tenants of the Faith in these tumultuous
times. We look forward to seeing you at
registration.
